Our parishionersThe ministry of an Anglican Church is directed, financed and carried out by the people of the church. Direct oversight is provided by a Management Team that reports to Parish Council. Every member of the parish over 16 years old is entitled to vote at the annual Vestry meeting where a budget is passed, officers are elected, and other important issues are discussed. Sunday School and NurseryAll children are welcomed at the beginning of the 10:00 AM service and encouraged to take part in the Children's Talk at the front of the church. After that, a Nursery and Sunday School program are available downstairs. The Nursery is intended for unaccompanied children aged 2-5. Younger children are welcome to come to the play area downstairs accompanied by a parent or a caregiver. Sunday School focuses on children 5 and over, providing fun, faith-filled activities during the service. Afterwards, everyone returns upstairs to share communion as one community.
Exercise and bible study groupMeets Monday evenings for 30 minutes of exercise followed by a bible study. Body and soul come together to stretch both ligaments and spiritual horizons. Shawl MinistryPeople who love to knit and who have a heart to reach out to others with God's love gather on alternate Wednesdays for prayer, fellowship and knitting. Many knit and pray between sessions. The Prayer Shawls they create are blessed and passed on to those in need of a loving, warm embrace. Read about it at www.shawlministry.com.
